This residence located on the eastern side of Lake Tahoe, designed to shelter a large family who want to recall their fond summer memories and incorporate their knowledge of the Tahoe micro-climate. This residence have two part of houses, the main house and guest house nestle in among existing pine and fir trees and form a wind-protected courtyard that opens up to the forested hill beyond. The front of the house leads to Lake Tahoe, designed transparent glass window designs, especially on the second floor provides a view of Lake Tahoe. The building is designed with natural materials. The interior features many sustainable materials, including reclaimed oak floors and recycled glass counter tops, on the exterior log columns, cedar shingles and a zinc roof help the houses merge into the landscape of the high Sierra.
